My felt works are the result of the time honored and labor intensive technique of wet felting to create sculptural vessels and wall art.  No machines, no knitting or sewing.  Just wool fibers, water, a little soap and a lot of elbow grease.  For the detail work, I do employ some hand needle felting as well.  I enjoy the paradox of soft felt that looks like hard rock of my Felt Rocks series.
